Climbing at Thacher will be CLOSED for the winter starting on Monday, December 14th. Opening day is weather-dependent but has historically been in mid-April. See you at the cliff next year!

While many birds have left to travel south for the winter, we have two adult bald eagles who will spend most of the cold months at Thacher State Park on Thompson's Lake! Have you seen our resident eagles lately? Visit Emma Treadwell Thacher Nature Center for a chance to spot them outside!
