Hi Miis! Hope everyone is staying safe and doing good! I know that it’s been a hassle adapting to new changes during Covid-19. We are taking all precautions to follow NYS guidelines to ensure our staff & our customers are safe. We are still working with our web designer and app company to figure out a launch date. Stay tune for more information. But in the mean time, you can go ahead and be one step ahead of the game to go download the Thai mii up app on your smart devi...ces..( Free ). Also you can go to WWW. Thaimiiup.com if you’re in need of a menu. ( make sure to type www) We do have togo menus at the restaurant which you can grab when picking up your order. At this current time with the 50% capacity, Our dining room will remain closed. Only Take out/Delivery. I know it’s been a huge complaint that customers aren’t able to get through to place an order because it’s constantly busy! I have added a third phone number to the business. ( see below for phone numbers to place order) 585-491-6331 585-491-6470 585-333-6317 Lastly, I have not yet to change my price during this entire time of the pandemic. Our quantity is still the same, our quality is still the same & our price remains the same even with inventory price surge on all ingredients and meats. I do not price match other asian restaurants with prices.. I am not here to bargain, I’m just here trying to survive this pandemic while serving my community with yummy food. Please respect us & be patient. Tons of love and hugs!!! K Linda Phiethep

Hi Miis, Happy Fourth of July! We hope everyone is staying safe. Our Irondequoit location will be closed Friday 7/3/2020 at 4pm ( last order in by 3:45pm) and we will re-open Tuesday 7/7/2020 at 11:00am. Here’s a quick update on what’s on our agenda due to Covid-19/Pandemic. ... Dine-in will remain closed, our dining room just isn’t big enough to open up at the capacity with the saftey measure that our government has placed. I know at times it’s a struggle to get through to order because the phone lines are busy. I am working with a company to do online ordering with curbside pick-up. All you will have to do is download an app on your smart device, place your order, pay for it then drive to the restaurant, pull up into 1 of the 7 spots we will have assigned for curbside pick-up. That service will also allow you to place delivery orders through us directly & not a third party like door dash. We are also installing a take-out window making it easier for customers to walk up, place an order & pay with cash or credit as if they’re unable to get through the phone. I also know it’s frustrating that a handful of our popular items are not available due to shortage or an uptick on pricing that isn’t reasonable at all of certain types of meats we use such as beef. Please understand we monitor the prices weekly and if and when it does go back to being reasonable these items such as beef jerky will be put back on the menu. We buy all of our meats wholesale, so calling us, yelling and being irate telling us to go to Wegmans to buy beef because they have it in stock will not yet you beef jerky. We make all of our products from scratch, in large batches & fresh. It’s a process, but a process that is worth all of your taste buds. We will also start serving family size meals packages making it more reasonable price for our miis to continue to patronize us during this difficult time. Hang tight, while we continue to work on these changes to better serve you. In the mean time, please continue to practice social distancing, wear a mask to protect us as we wear one to protect you. Happy fourth! Be safe and we’ll see our miis soon! - K Linda & Thai mii up family.

Hi Miis! Just an FYI DOOR-DASH CRASHED ABOUT 30 mins ago 4/17/20 and we are unable to fix the issue. If you’ve placed an order within the last hour 5:00pm till now.. I would definitely contact doordash and see what’s going on. This situation is out of our control. Unfortunately we can not contact door dash to fix the issue because they are only accepting calls directly from the restaurant phone number associated with the account. If we call them we won’t be able to take any ...other orders as the line will be busy. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Sincerely TMU staff.

Hello Miis, Thank for all of those who came out & supported us yesterday. It was so good to see our regular customers & also gain some new customers!! Thank you for also following directions with social distancing. Here’s a few IMPORTANT updates. ... - Doordash will be up and running today 4/8/20 - Doordash items will be limited with certain items such as open container drinks etc. due to customer safety. - If there are any complaints through Doordash, Such as the wait time on your order for delivery etc please call them directly. We can not make any changes or give refunds through a third party service. - Due to high volume calls since we are only providing take out, please expect a small wait time if you are asked to be placed on hold. - Due to inventory shortage, we are forced to cut down our hours. New hours will be: Tuesday - Sunday 11:00am - 7:00pm (These hours also reflects Doordash. Unfortunately it’s extremely hard to get any updates from them due to them also being busy) - Please do not bang on our door to gain someone’s attention, I don’t want you to hurt yourself . A phone number is placed on the front door to call if you do not see anyone. We are either on the phone taking an order or we are packing an order. - When placing a Togo order, you will be given a ticket number. Instead of us asking for a name & phone number. (This Speeds up the process). When you arrive to the front door, we’ll ask for your ticket number, we’ll hand you the credit card paper to sign & your food. Thank you for being understanding, we also understand adjusting to changes are very difficult due to Covid-19. Please stay safe, continue to wash your hands, keep your distance & smile. Remember we’re all in this together. Sincerely, Thai mii up family

LHi Miis, I hope everyone is doing good and staying safe. Here’s an update of what we got going on. Being an asian restaurant a lot of the ingredients/spices & inventory are hard to find in American supermarkets. Considering we were getting a lot of our stuff from NYC, as we all know NYC is currently a hotspot. ... I am definitely a risk taker but when it comes to safety and following directions to ensure my family and our community remains safe is my number one priority. At first I didn’t feel comfortable putting my family lives, employee lives, the customer lives and third party delivery drivers lives on the line, until I had a solid plan. With that being said after doing some research, watching how other stores and restaurants were doing things and getting details on how vendors were taking care of their warehouses etc I figure out who was the safest vendors to order from. Starting Tuesday, April 7th, 2020 we will re-open Thai mii up in Irondequoit ONLY. Here are some changes we put in place. In order to keep everything smooth and safe please follow directions or else we will Be forced to close down again. We are only offering door pick up and Door-dash delivery. NO walk in. Our doors will remain locked at all times. We will have 5 spots 6ft tapped to the ground in front of the front door. If these spaces are filled up please remain in your car until there’s an open spot. - Our hours of operation will be Tuesday - Sunday from 11:00am to 7:00pm last order needs to be placed by 6:45pm. - For take out please call (585) 491-6331 or (585) 491-6470 -Please do not text the workers personally, Facebook message etc to place your orders. Call the phone numbers or use door-dash. -Delivery option is only through Doordash. -No cash at all! Only credit card which will be taken over the phone when your order is placed. -No cash Tips allowed. If you would like to leave a tip, do so on your credit card receipt. -Understand just as much it’s frustrating for customers to adjust to changes it’s also frustrating for us as well making sure we are on top of everything. -Our menu might be limited after a few days of opening due to inventory shortage. We will Try our best to keep everything in stock but there’s no promises. -Until future noticed if we have to adjust any changes or make more changes we will keep everyone updated. I hope this makes some of our Miis happy! We’ve missed everyone and can’t wait to start serving again!! See you guys starting Tuesday! - K Linda Phiethep

! Hi Miis, Whew! What a tough few days we’ve all witnessed. After thinking long and hard as to stay open or close was a pretty tough decision. My family has always strive really hard to give back to our community when & if it was possible. ... Since we’ve made a final decision to close down all three locations until further notice due to the outbreak of coronavirus spreading like a wild fire. We thought it was in the best interest of the community and also our family and staff to self quarantine in our own personal space. After my last post, I mentioned that if we were to close down all of our locations we will cook meals for free to families and children who are In need for whatever reason, no questions or judgments. After speaking with a few people, it would be really hard to do so without any face to face contact. Instead I am working with the Irondequoit community cupboard in donating whatever fresh veggies we have left at the restaurants along with other items they may need including gift cards to local small businesses in town and around town. We’ll definitely miss all of our miis, we can only pray to god that we all come out of this situation ten times stronger. Family first. Doesn’t matter our family or yours. We just want everyone to be safe, protect your love ones and continue to wash your hands, be kind, show compassion and respect each other opinions. Stay bless K Linda Phiethep, Phiethep Family & TMU staff.

Thai.Mii.Up 01.08.2020

Hi Miis, As a small family business, we are also on edge with the entire community. As of right now we are still open for business at the Irondequoit location and at Eagle Vale. Del Lago is closed until further noticed. We are watching the news and following CDC for the latest updates. We are prepared to take all precaution to protect our community even if that means closing down to limit the spreading of the virus. We are taking extra care because our community health is a...lso important to our family. We do have hand soap, extra toilet paper , hand sanitizers, disinfecting wipes and all purpose cleaner that was delivered today by our supplier. We encourage any employees who are sick or feel like they’re coming down with something to stay home. In the case IF THAI MII UP AT ANY LOCATION HAS TO CLOSE DOWN, schools are closed, family can’t work due to child care, funds are low, whatever reasoning it maybe if you or your family needs help, instead of throwing our inventory away we as a family will get rid of our food by cooking it for anyone that is in need. ( details will follow if we cross that bridge ) This is the most we can do to help our community. We don’t ask for anything in return. The only thing we do ask is to not be disrespected and Continue to see us as humans and not the virus because we are asian. We appreciate all of our Miis, we appreciate all of the support. It’s a huge lost for everyone, but as long as we have compassion and respect for each other we can survive this. P.s continue to wash your hands. Sincerely, K Linda Phiethep, Phiethep family & staff.

Hi Miis, Our dining room at our irond location will be opening back up starting tomorrow 3/10/2020. 11:00am - 9:00pm . Please be patient with us as we are training new employees. Also, we are working on redesigning our entire dining room sometime soon. So with that being said, we will have to close down for a little bit to ... re-introduce our new space to our Miis. ( no date yet). It’s been a journey & a confusing ride for our Miis. All of the positive out pours has been nothing but encouraging for my family to want to continue to deliver the best. Thank you again for all of your patience. - Thai mii up Family & employee’s.

Thai.Mii.Up 13.07.2020

So here’s the deal, anyone who knows me as a business woman or a person overall, I am brutally honest but I also respect others. Since a handful of people have their own assumptions ( mostly bad ones ) as to why my dining room is shut down... Hiring quality workers is far in between. Although we have some great employees who care about their job, we also have a handful who aren’t as dedicated. Being a family ran business with three locations.. we want to delivery the best... of the best that’s including our service. So if that means I have to shut down my dining room to reorganize, brainstorm and come back with a clean and better slate that’s exactly what I’ll do without the fear of losing customers. People are messaging me saying I’m losing out on money for closing down.. Its a temporary lost by fixing the issue right away, it will cost me more in the long run if I didn’t address the issue right away. So please keep in mind, if we close for a day, if we close down for a few hours, if we close down for a few days.. there’s a reason behind it. We deserve a break too, don’t always assume the worse. My family work hard day in and day out to serve our miis and we take pride in what we do. For those who understand thank you, we greatly appreciate you. For those who don’t, there’s many other Thai restaurants in Rochester that I wholeheartedly support and you can also support them too. Sincerely, K Linda Phiethep
