On this Veterans Day, we pay tribute to all military veterans. They put their lives on the line to protect our way of life, their families, and your family. In times of peace and in times of war, these brave souls serve our country and are there to ensure our liberty. Many of these brave servicemen and women experienced much of what you may not ever become aware. As you consider what today means to you and our families, please remember all of those who have served and when you have the opportunity, let them know how much you appreciate their service and sacrifices! Happy birthday to the US Marine Corps! Since its establishment by decree of the Second Continental Congress on November 10, 1775, the US Marine Corps has been recognized as one of the world's most elite military forces. Less than 1% of all Americans living today have served in the US Marine Corps. Marines are often the first on the ground during conflict operations and have protected this country since its inception. Today and every day, we honor and pay tribute to this distinguished service's heritage.
