Promising news - In a pilot study at the University of Helsinki, dogs were taught - after only a few weeks - to detect the odor of COVID-19. These promising findings are important for other research teams who are training sniffer dogs to detect COVID-19, which could have huge implications for pinpointing infected people in nursing homes and airports.
