There is a Board of Education meeting scheduled for Thursday, January 14th at 6:30pm. The Governor has again extended the Open Meetings Laws with changes for CO...VID to allow the BOE to meet without the public present since those meetings are meetings in front of the public by design. The meeting this Thursday will not be held with the public present as the BOE here at the Town of Webb UFSD has been doing for a number of months. They will return to a streamed format only for this meeting and will evaluate future meetings on an individual basis. This is being done in concert with our daily limiting of visitors to our campus to interact within the walls in which we are teaching our youth. As always, if you have something to ask the BOE or something you would like the BOE to hear from you please send that to the Board Clerk, Diane Kull and she can disseminate your question or statement to them. Please contact her by phone or send your questions/comments to her at [email protected] by the end of the morning Thursday so she can share it with the BOE prior to the BOE meeting. The Boonville Snow Festival II board members held their regularly scheduled board meeting the evening of December 8, 2020. After much discussion with regards to the continuing COVID-19 restrictions and lack of guidance or help from Governor Andrew Cuomo and New York State, it saddens us even further that this years 2021 edition, the 11thAnnual Boonville Snow Festival, will be cancelled and will go on as scheduled in 2022 on the weekend of February 4-6, 2022. The board members... would like to thank all our volunteers, advertisers, sponsors, participants, the community and avid race fans for their unwavering support throughout the history of the Snow Festival. We look forward to seeing and interacting with all of you in the future. Thank you and be safe, Tony Pettinelli President BSF See more
