It is with great sadness that I announce the loss of 2 members of The Music Academy family this week. Roy Praeger and Sal Madonia. Sal, is Bens grandpa. Ben Is one of our students and the author of ‘Maybe Autism Is My Superpower’. Ben is also a member of the Ryan Stars band. Bens grandpa Sal was always involved in the events that the band played at and always going above and beyond to help the kids at the Academy and the band. He was always so proud of his grandson and th...e accomplishments of the kids at the Music Academy. He was a wonderful selfless person who was always doing for others. Roy was The founder of The Ryan Praeger Scholarship memorial fund and the founder of Ryan’s Stars band (in memory of his son Ryan). The Ryan Praeger scholarship fund Has helped so many families over the past six years at the Music Academy with Music scholarships. For those who had the pleasure of meeting him over the years, whether it was at an event or one of the fundraisers you will understand when I say he loved and was so proud of the bandmembers, the students at the Academy and the staff. Another wonderful, selfless person, gone too soon. Our hearts are so heavy but we know they are always with us. Forever in our hearts. See more

Our Thursday Night Art Group has been very busy! This week they worked on these beautiful owl creations! They did a phenomenal job!! We have some very talented artists at The Music Academy!
