Today, Saturday, September 19th, 2020, is National Thank A Police Officer Day! Thank you to all the men and women of law enforcement who risk their lives everyday to assure the safety of others! How To Observe: Celebrate the day by saying "thank you" to any law enforcement officer you come into contact with. You could also do small acts of gratitude for them, such as buying them a cup of coffee, donating something to your local police/sheriff department or offer discounts t...o those in uniform today. The following are a few other ways you could celebrate the day: Share a positive story about law enforcement, either in-person or on social media. Wear blue clothing in support of law enforcement. Turn on a blue light outside of your home or apartment. Organize an event in your community to support law enforcement. Read a book to your children highlighting all the good of law enforcement officers. Get out there and show your support! We know it’s truly needed now more than ever!
