#FontFriday: Did you know the official typeface of Syracuse University is called Sherman? The typeface was originally designed in 1910 by Frederic W. Goudy for Frederic F. Sherman, a publisher. Today, it has been digitally redrawn by Chester Jenkins, of the type foundry, Village, for exclusive use of the university. Want to learn more? Stop in to the The Sue & Leon Genet Gallery today! Organized by Andrew Saluti, Assistant Professor of Museum Studies and the students of the Museum Preparation and Installation course in the Museum Studies Graduate Program.
