Today the Hebrew Academy Preschool was visited by Galina, a wonderful Dental Hygienist from Rockland Pediatric Dental. We learned all about how to keep our teeth and gums strong and healthy. Thank you Galina!

We have been very busy in kindergarten since our return from break. In Language Arts, we are starting to learn CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words. We played an ice cream cvc game to practice. In math we are beginning to explore addition! Using number bonds and our counters, we are learning that there are many different ways to make one number.

In second grade, the students were learning about the treaty between Avraham and Hashem. Each student had a chance to visualize the actual treaty by walking through the cut animals. We then created a project to demonstrate their understanding.

The children enjoyed a fun and informative fire safety tour given by the kind and caring firefighters in our area.
