Wawarsing Historical Knife Museum

Due to the success of his last visit, town historian Bucky Green will be at the museum again on July 27th and August 24th to give history talks and answer questions related to Ellenville & Wawarsing history. He'll be here all day on both days, so come on by and say hello!

Event Update - On June 1st, Bucky Green, a local town historian, will give a talk on our town's colorful history. He'll be here from 11AM to 4PM to answer any questions. Alex, our local knife sharpener extraordinaire, will be back this year to provide his free knife sharpening services. He'll be here all day on the following dates, so bring your dull edges to have them refurbished to a razor's edge: June 1st & 2nd, June 29th, July 27th, August 24th & 25th... Greetings folks!! Just wanted to give everyone a little update: We will be opening for the 2019 season on Saturday, May 25th. Our hours then and thereafter will be Saturdays 11AM to 4PM, and Sundays 12PM to 4PM. We have a completely revamped knife room with all new displays, along with additional new displays from the whittling collection of Fred Clark, formerly of Warren Cutlery. We also have a tremendous selection of knives for sale, including Schrade and Canal Street Cutlery, provided by the Greater Wawarsing development Agency. Hope to see you all there!!!

THE WAWARSING HISTORICAL SOCIETY AND KNIFE MUSUEM WILL OPEN FOR THE 2017 SEASON ON MAY 27TH. WILL BE OPEN EVERY WEEKEND THRU LABOR DAY FROM 10AM - 4PM. NEW DISPLAYS AND KNIVES FOR SALE. ADMISSION IS FREE. STOP BY!

Hey folks! The Museum Flea Market will be starting this weekend, July 11th. Here's some info and contact numbers: The Flea Market is ready to start this Saturday and Sunday, 7/11 and 7/12, from 10:00am to 4:00pm with dealer set up at 9:00am. Dealer cost is $20.00 for Saturday and $5:00 if you come back on Sunday. If your not a member of the Museum your first weekend will be $25:00 to include membership and the Flea Market fee. We have a food vendor who will be set up. The market will run for 6 weeks, ending August 16th. If any one wants information you can call Bob at 845 626-0086, or Dr. Craft at 845 647 7792.
