The Lake Placid Pub and Brewery

We are sorry to report that The Pub will be closed for the weekend. We, like our local schools and businesses, have had a positive case and we want to take the weekend to allow the local health department to complete contract tracing. We have not been mandated to close, but we want to make sure that our guests and our staff are as safe as possible. We appreciate your understanding as we all join together during this difficult time. At this point, our plan is to reopen on Monday (the 15th) afternoon for in-person service. Thank you all for your support. Our sister brewery, Big Slide Brewery & Public House will be open this weekend. Anyone who is picking up Valentine’s Day orders, please do so at Big Slide.

Full time Production Brewing Job at the Lake Placid Pub & Brewery. 40 hrs/wk, weekends required. Experience in the brewing field is preferred but not mandatory. Candidate must have strong knowledge of beer styles and overview of brewing procedures. Candidate should be interested in a career in brewing, as the training required is extensive. This job is hard physical work, requiring the ability to work on your feet for long periods of time, the ability to maneuver full kegs (170 lbs), and repeatedly lift grain bags (55 lbs). Candidate should be highly self-motivated, able to follow strict procedural protocols, have great attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
