The Leaders Co-Lab 04.02.2021

Overwhelmed at work & home? Thinking about early retirement, or a leave of absence? Unmotivated or a little "stuck"? ... All of the above? 2020 has been a crazy year - and many (most?) of us are re-thinking our priorities, and trying to make sense of our lives and ourselves in this world of constant change and uncertainty. We want to help you USE this time of uncertainty to your benefit - with this unique 8-week experiential group coaching program that helps you understand your unique preferences and patterns of dealing with challenges at work and at home. We are excited to ANNOUNCE enrollment for the Navigating Uncertainty Coaching Program - starting on Tuesday October 27th at 11 am US EDT. Check out Navigating Uncertainty, and join a small cohort of 24, to chart your own course through year-end, and enter 2021 with more inner agility and clarity. Why did we create this program? Pre-COVID, 90% of my work required on-site coaching & interactive learning with leaders and their teams. When COVID hit in March, everyone hunkered down. I knew people needed help but wasn't sure how to get it to them in a way that was affordable and IMPACTFUL. But I KNEW that people needed meaningful connection, and a way to better handle uncertainty. So, in April I teamed up with fellow coach Heidi Kraft and we piloted Navigating Uncertainty with the Enneagram. We had a big vision and passion to help people navigate this complex and tumultuous time with more tools and self-awareness. And we did! The results: We had 18 amazing participants together for 8 weeks. We got stellar feedback: o 91% rated the overall program as Very Good or Excellent. o "Soooo appreciated the seminar... the three of you did lovely work creating a trusting space for us to have such useful conversations. Thank you thank you thank you." - David H; Executive Coach o "I really enjoyed the "off" week [type-talk] sessions. The groups were intimate and the advice and sharing really deep and helpful." - Cori S; Director Customer Experience So we are excited to ANNOUNCE enrollment for our next session starting on October 27th! #coaching #resilience #enneagram

Join us for a FREE intro to the Enneagram on Friday at 2pm EST. Super cool, even if you don't yet know your enneagram type. All are welcome.

This is our work - not just at home, but with our teams, in our workplaces... It is inner work, it is interpersonal & relationship work, it is systems work. It must start with us each, finding our humility, seeing ourselves through a truer mirror, with honesty and self-compassion - for we will not always like what we see.

Make 2021 a regenerative year. Let it begin with YOU. Join us on January 19th at Noon EST and commit to creating your own virtual "gap year". It starts by going within, and understanding ourselves, but we quickly will realize that ultimately, the enneagram helps us to appreciate diversity, and to become more compassionate leaders, parents, spouses, friends and to walk our talk while appreciating that our way is NOT the only way.

In this video, I share my commitments for 2021, and what these commitments mean to me. They are: 1. Authenticity Grace (embody, be inspired by) 2. Compassionate Connection 3. Stay... I also share that I am part of Tara McMullin's What Works Network, and participating right now (this week) in her Commitment Blueprint process. I recommend it! https://explorewhatworks.com/commitment/

Perfect timing to read this. We (Kelsey Clarke, Heidi Kraft, Ken Roseboom) are launching an 8 week interactive, participative and challenging group coaching pr...ogram in 1 week! 7 days and just shy of 2 hours from this moment (11 am EST on October 27th). It's called Navigating Uncertainty, and we use the enneagram, and polyvagal theory to map our 3 brain-body states, and our enneagram core type, social styles, conflict styles, wings and lines of development to shift one pattern (each person chooses) that is not serving them well right now. If you join, your results will be directly proportional to your participation. You have to play to win. Does that make sense? We had some pretty great feedback when we piloted this in April/May/June this year (crazy days... oh wait, it's still kinda crazy...). Thanks to the pioneers that jumped in, and really committed to learn and to APPLY what they were learning in real life. We have approximately 4 slots left (24 total) for this Fall Cohort. Back to Seth's blog - read it... and if you're curious, click on the link in the first comment, and take a look at our program - and see if it might be EXACTLY what you need to challenge yourself for the next 8 weeks. If so - we'll see you TUESDAY! (So excited, the program is actually a ton of fun, and we learn just as much as our participants I think.)

Hi, I'm Melissa O'Mara, and I am a corporate change and innovation leader who almost burned out. My passion is my greatest strength and my biggest challenge. I know this because I asked. Literally.... I asked eleven of the people who know me best - most of whom have also worked with me - to describe me in 3 words. 9 of 11 of the people who know me best described me as passionate. I then asked them all to share one thing that holds me back, and the bravest responded. Guess what they said (in a long-winded and kind way)? Sometimes you may be a little too passionate. Passion makes me an addict. I'm addicted to meaningful work. I'm addicted to birthing "what's next." I'm also a recovering workaholic. (I can admit it, now.) I’m still here, and I'm still working on "what's needed next." I’m learning how to use my greatest strength as a force for good. So can you.
