SHOP STORIES CHAPTER 24 Donna Kurten Case #35 ... Donna Kurten Collection recently joined The Shops on West Ridge after participating in local shows for several years. As a child of a family deeply rooted in southern Appalachian tradition, Donna learned to value homemade specialties and handmade items passed down through generations. Donna Kurten Collection was born of that love of handcrafted items and a passion for creating. Donna specializes in stylish handcrafted jewelry and gifts. Her whimsical copper earring trees are one of a kind pieces of functional art, crafted by hand and brought to life through the addition of carefully chosen beads and trinkets. Her jewelry collection, also meticulously handcrafted by Donna, includes boho and unique statement pieces which focus on style, color, comfort and of course quality. The newest addition to the collection; her Angel Wing ornaments, were inspired by a deep personal loss and the hope they will bring comfort to others. 10% of each ornament sold is donated to the Alzheimer’s Association. Check out her entire collection in Case 35 on the upper level.
