Calling a photographer out for harassment is not tearing a fellow artist down Being humble does not mean you should stand idly by if you know a photographer is harassing people A photographer not having a problem with you or even supporting your work is not a reason to look the other way when they are harassing people. ... Calling out photographers who are being inappropriate is in fact one of the best things you can do to improve the art community and its the right thing to do! If you think this is directed at you there is a good chance you should improve your behavior and stop being a shitty human. Thank you for joining my ted talks

From a wonderful photography friend of mine

Silent Portraits 18.12.2020

Today marks two years since my wife and I lost our daughter Rylee Marie. This rose was one of the flowers we had at her funeral, I don't know what drew me to photograph it this year. I guess I just needed to feel like she was still here if even for a minute. Its been a really hard two years even with all our blessings there is such a huge missing part to our life. every day I think about if she would be walking and talking yet, I wonder if she would have the same smile Baby ...boy has. I wonder about all the milestones. Honestly its pretty hard to even function most days, I miss her so much and as I sleep I feel her laying in my arms but every time I wake up I lose her again. Rylee was born with an extremely rare medical condition and it wasn't detected until after she was born. we were blessed with 3 days with her before we took her off of life support and she looked at us and smiled and held our hands and we held her and when it was finally time she snuggled into my chest comfortably in my arms and took her last breath. We held her for a little longer before we finally said goodbye. Even in her passing she brought joy to the world as she was born with a perfect heart which was donated and helped improve the life of another child in need. She is perfect and I just miss her terribly and needed to talk about her. I don't share a lot of my feelings with people but something made me want to open up a little today. Thank you all for being here and listening for a minute.

Having trouble sleeping so I decided to work on my website a little bit. here are a few of my favorite photo series I did in 2020 http://silentportraits.com/photoseries/... With the pandemic I really didn't get to shoot as much as I would have liked but thats ok I would love some feed back so feel free to like share comment or leave a review on my page. Those things truly go such a long way for an artist
