The Sunday Mass 05.07.2021

God our Father, we give you thanks and praise for fathers young and old. We pray for young fathers, newly embracing their vocation; May they find courage and perseverance to balance work, family and faith in joy and sacrifice. We pray for our own Fathers and those around the world whose children are lost or suffering; May they know that the God of compassion walks with them in their sorrow. We pray for men who are not fathers but still mentor and guide us with fatherly love and advice. We remember fathers, grandfather, and great grandfathers who are no longer with us but who live forever in our memory and nourish us with their love. Amen #Fathers #FathersDay #fathersday2021

Father, Creator of the world, give strength to the world leaders in their many tests and trials. Help them to seek your guidance in these troubled times. Help them to guide their countries in peace and justice. Help them to make their contributions to lasting peace which your Son desired to bring to the world. Amen. #GodsGuidance #TrustGod #FollowJesus

Heavenly Father, I thank You for my life and everything You have bestowed upon me and upon all people, this day and every day. I thank You for the good and bad, the understanding of forgiveness and Your holy power, without which we would have nothing. I thank You this day for all Your blessings, Your gifts, Your never ending love for us. Although we are all sinners, I ask you to forgive me every day for what I might have done wrong, that I might not have noticed. Even though we all come short of the glory of God, I thank You for the sacrifice of Your only son Jesus Christ for all our sins. You and only You know us Father and You know if our hearts are true. So once again, I thank You with all my heart and soul. In the name of Christ I pray. Amen. #Gratitude #Prayer #TheSundayMass

Almighty God, our heavenly Father, who sets the solitary person in the comfort of families; I commend to your continual care the homes in which your people dwell. Put far from them, I beseech you, every root of bitterness, the desire of boastful vanity, and the pride of life. Fill them with faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, Godliness. Knit together in constant affection those who, in holy wedlock, have been made one flesh; turn the heart of the parents to the children, and the heart of the children to the parents; and fill us all with true love and charity, so that we put aside petty differences and act with kind affection and the sympathy of brotherly love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. #FamilyBlessings #Trust #Faith

Lord, I find it hard to accept this illness. I am impatient, I find it hard to speak to anyone, I find it hard to talk to You. I am wrapped up in pity and worry for myself. I worry over my health. I worry about things I would like to do, ought to do, but now can’t. At a time like this I find it hard to believe in You, to trust in You, to love You. And yet, I want to believe, to trust, to love. I know You really care for me. I cast all my care upon You. I leave myself entirely... in Your kind hands. Not my will, but Yours be done. Lord Jesus, I think of the pains You endured for me: the great sadness of the garden, Your scourging and crowning, Your cross, Your death. You had to suffer to enter into Your glory. The sufferings of this time are not to be compared to the glory that is to come. In the strength of Your Spirit I join my sufferings to Yours for the redemption of the world. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner. Amen. #Illness #JesusSaves #Trust
