BIG NEWS! A letter from TWS owner Andrea Wawro: The W Spa’s objective hasn’t been to figure out COVID-19- we know we cannot do that. Our goal has been to understand how our spa will turn into an employee owned business by October 2022! By 2022, The W Spa will be 16 years old, and it will be due time to put those who choose to be at theWspa in the driver’s seat. Yet, we cannot pretend like 2020 has not been challenging. After 14 years of being in business, we have certainly al...ready experienced hardships- and because our business runs legitimately, on the books, and pays its taxes, we had no issues receiving our PPP funding. And NOW.... we have been humbly blessed with 43 North’s Back to Business grant of $25,000 !!! It was too overwhelming, I could barely fall asleep! We want to thank each and everyone of you, for the endless love and outreach of support. We have only been here because of YOU and we will continue on because of YOU. We know the spa industry may stay closed due to COVID-19 for the next few weeks, and we can promise you this: The W Spa is going to be standing right where we are .... and we have SO much to share with you once our doors reopen for full spa services!!! We are now making decisions together which will impact our team, & our community... and we are going to remember to pay it forward! Our team is passionate and warm-hearted, and masters in their work. We are all working towards being a part of an employee- owned spa- something that our industry has never seen- and we are making strides to accomplish this together. When you support theWspa, you are supporting more than a company or a person, you are helping pave the way for innovation and employee ownership. We will always do our best and when we fall short, we will make the necessary changes to remedy and move forward with a new lesson learned. We are far from perfect and will work on the progress to always reach for what is in the distance.
