Heads up to everyone... the horses are all turned out but the ice to and from the pastures is insane after yesterdays warm weather and then drop in temp...please please please be careful if you are out to the farm today! :) <3

This weekend may seem like a warm reprieve for most, but horses do not do well in large temperature swings. It is the perfect colic weather. We will have a close eye on everyone, but Please play close attention to your horses and their behavior. Blankets have been taken off and our horses will be staying in acclimating to the weather. Workouts should be light to avoid any stress. Thanks !!!!!

Pony camp or bust!!!!!!! Draft day brought a pizza party .... and an ending to pony camps 2019 ! What a blast we had and such a wonderful group of kids ! We were lucky enough to be a part of 27 kids lives between week one and two .... and can’t thank their parents enough for the chance ! We are EXHAUSTED .... but committed to being the best camp around ... ...each year gets better ! There is nothing better to put life into perspective than looking through the eyes of 15 fresh faces for a week while they experience a whole new world thanks to everyone !!! Until next year!

Day three is in the books !!! A lot of heat and sun today - but boy did we have a blast and did so much ! Tack cleaning , anatomy , bathing , relay races and bareback riding ! Tomorrow is driving day with Billy and we can’t wait !!!! We have the best group of kids !!!

A little late on our last pony camp post, but moving right into Lorenzo had everyone a bit busy! Pony camp 1 ended with a bang on draft day ! What a great and fun group of kids we had ! I’m sure all of the kids were exhausted after a busy week .... but I think we may have been more exhausted than them! Haha! We hope everyone had as fabulous of a time as we did !!

We are well into week one of pony camp and so far we’ve groomed, bathed, ridden , tie dyed, side walk chalked, climbed hay wagons, made forts , played games and learned all about farm life and horses! After a night and morning with no hot water(tank went after 23yrs, I expected more out of it.....lol) Easton and I headed out to Willet, Cinncinatus, Deruyter ...and a few other places. I am sure they were all over joyed to hear Easton howl out the window for the 2 hour tour of towns. It was so funny to see everyone’s head turn. I can’t hear anymore, but he had fun. We put up some flyers and did a lot of backyard looking, but came up empty. I am going to do some personal handing out of flyers. Just stopping at gas stations and supermarkets and hand them out to customers. This will spread the word quickly and face to face is important. I would like to ask everyone to please invite all your friends to like our page to spread it all over the state....country!! If we could each hand out two flyers in person again that would be a huge help! I hope anyone that has friends or family in the towns of Whitney Point, Georgetown,Smyrna, Otselic, Lincklaen, Truxton, Preble,Norwich, Marathon, Tully, Fabius, Otisco and Nelson could please ask them to post flyers to their Facebook pages, stores, gas stations, schools and post offices. TVF kids/ parents ! We have been gifted with roughly 14 pairs of jodhpurs / breeches from 8-14 and 24-36 - both regular and winter ... please feel free to go through and grab anything that may fit ! Great shape ! Lighten up the back to school load on yourself and remember there are still a few pairs / sizes of paddock boots if anyone needs to size up!

Day two’s rain didn’t pose a problem! Chalk , trotting 101, pin the tail on the horse, learning about gaits, hay forts and ring around the hay bales kept us busy! We have quite the artists in this group of campers... our aisle is quite the rainbow today!

And we’re at it again! 7 new campers joined us today for week #2 of pony camp! Stay tuned for updates on all of the fun throughout the week!

We're not often wanting summer to move along... but July can end anytime now! The heat and humidity has killed the lesson and riding schedule for everyone...it's not comfortable for horse or rider.. Here's to August coming up and hopefully less humidity.

And that’s a wrap! We’re happy, exhausted, and so grateful for the wonderful kids and families we had join us this week for our pony camp!! We finished up our camp this week with a bang by pulling out 4 of our big guns ... the draft horses ! Everyone learned how to drive and maintain our pulling machines! What camp is complete without a pizza party ?! Pizza party , tie dye , sidewalk chalk , relay races , games , squirt gun wars , tack cleaning , horse brushing , feeding , wagon rides, driving and of course riding just to name some of our activities this week!
