To our Customers, Friends, and Families, It is with a heavy heart that we inform you we will be temporarily closing all of the businesses until the spring. Our last day will be Sunday, December 13th. We feel the risk is becoming too great to justify any possible upside. Our first priority is always the safety and welfare of our staff, our customers, and our families. We are glad we re-opened. We needed to see all of your faces and we cannot thank you enough for your support. ...In the meantime, we will be preparing for our reopening with expanded outdoor seating options. Open tonight, closed tomorrow! We won’t be around for Thanksgiving, but our friends over at The Little Whiskey and Whiskey Tavern will be. The Little Whiskey will be open from 5-10 and Whiskey Tavern will be open from 12-10 tomorrow. We’ll resume our normal hours on Friday 11/27!

Some good news from your friends at the Whiskey Family: Whiskey Tavern will be re-opening tomorrow (11/20) at noon! We missed you! The Little Whiskey turned FIVE this week! 5 Come and have a drink to celebrate with us!... The Whiskey Shop has Thanksgiving Wines in stock and some great Thanksgiving Bourbons too (Made with corn! So festive!) Open Weds-Sun Cheers!

After stepping back and reassessing, we will be re-opening this afternoon with revised hours, mandated by the state. We are still so excited to serve you all picklebacks, beers & pizzas

In the interest of caution, and in light of the new regulations instituted by the city and state of New York, we are going to take a breath and re-evaluate our next steps. Please be patient with us, as this is our first time navigating a global pandemic. We love you. #whiskey

Link in bio Friends and Family of the Whiskey Company we are asking you for help and a favor during this difficult time. Our Bartenders, Servers, Bar backs, Cooks and Porters have found themselves in a financial situation out of their control. We were forced to lay them off after having to close all 7 bars due to the Coronavirus shutdown. We opened these bars over 13 years ago as friends and brothers with a handful of employees and have grown into quite a large family with 7... bars. Hopefully over the years we have brought you joy during birthdays, weddings, holidays and companionship in times of sadness, as well as all the things in between. Games watched, friendships made, love lost and gained, hangovers you hated us for and hangovers you loved us for. Mainly though we hope we have gained your friendship and became the neighborhood spot where you went to enjoy the songs, the laugh, the pickle backs or for whatever other reason you came. We were lucky enough to get to know you and we are grateful. We never thought we would see the day where we would have to ask for you to help us and give back so we can continue to supplement our staff until we can get back on our feet, however long that may take. Our promise is that all donations will go directly to staff and when the day comes that we can open the doors and be your regular spot once again, know your generosity will be returned twofold and more! Any cash tips donated will go directly toward their MSKCC’s Fred’s Team races. They are running to raise donations specifically for pediatric cancer research and lifesaving clinical trials for children and young adults. Because most pediatric cancers are classified as rare, research is underfunded and treatment efforts are often limited. Anything you can share will make a difference
