Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! To our sponsors, our vendors and our supportive shoppers: thank you! Our market was created to subsidize the food pantry, offer seniors a discount, afford everyone a safe alternative to the grocery store and to support our local businesses. ... We created and executed the market in just two months time, and are very proud of the result. In just 12 weeks, we were able to give $3500 in vouchers to the Food Pantry and other local initiatives that patrons were then able to spend at the market. At the end of each day, the vouchers were collected from vendors and exchanged for money. That $3500 not only fed residents in need, it supported our local business- which in turn means that over 65% of that money stays here in our community. Thank you all for being a part of something so positive and meaningful. The support from our sponsors and shoppers has been amazing, the effort and attitudes of our vendors was admirable all season long. I am grateful to be part of a team of people that were able to support and promote each other and work together seamlessly.
