Recently, Lt. Paul Schettino and Chief Dworkin had the honor of being presented two hand made flags from a local resident. Damarys Mojica visited us at the PD to show her support and appreciation for the good work done by the Fishkill Police. Damarys read us a poem and provided a framed copy. We will proudly display her artwork and are truly grateful to her for taking the time to let us know we make a difference. The Town of Fishkill Police were honored to participate in the Village of Fishkill Memorial Day Parade. Our Honor Guard proudly led the procession and Presented the Colors for the wreath laying ceremony. We would also like to congratulate Mayor James Miccio on announcing his upcoming retirement. We wish him the best of luck.

As we pause to remember the sacrifice of those brave men and women who laid down their lives for love of country and the protection of our freedom, let's vow to never forget and honor them always.

On Monday May 24, Sgt Wood, Officer Wood and Chief Dworkin presented a seminar on ID Theft, Scams and introduced our new Are You Ok? program to our resident Seniors at the Fishkill Recreation Center. Councilmember Kenya Gadsden came to show her support and chat with our Officers and Seniors. Sgt Wood presented valuable information on how not to fall victim to identity theft and phishing scams. Thank you to our residents who participated and Recreation Director Maietta for use of the facility.

The Town of Fishkill Police Department is pleased to announce a new tool to aid citizens in providing immediate information to help us fight crime. Our Fishkill PD Tips program allows anyone to contact us via the Police Departments website and submit anonymous tips and intelligence on any known or suspected criminal activity. Although we strive to provide the highest level of service to our community, we can not do it alone. We rely on the eyes and ears of the community to partner with us to reduce crime.
