HOUSE KEEPING With the many recent improvement to our beautiful Town Park it is of no surprise that the Park is frequented more now then ever before. The investments in our Park were made for that very reason and we are happy to see it being used. However, we would like to remind all park goers and dog owners that the park is to be kept clean for everyone to use.... Local law 2 of 1997 restricts dog owners from allowing their dogs from creating a nuisance by defecating on public property. Please CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG. For your convenience you will find two doggy stations located at the north entrance of the Park (off of Street Road) and the South Entrance of the Park (below the lower parking lot). These station are complete with plastic bags and disposal receptacles. Please use them as needed or bring your own but you must clean up after your dog. In addition, Local Law 1 of 1991 mandates that no person shall leave refuse or garbage on any land or water ways in the Town Park. Please CLEAN UP after yourselves. The Town Park is one of our greatest assets drawing families and children from both near and far. Please respect it and your fellow park users, not just because it's the law but because it's the descent thing to do so that the Park and its many features may be enjoyed by all. Thank you for your understanding.

These boots were made for walking...... Hello Knox. Looking to shed some COVID pounds, exercise a bit, or take in the spectacular colors of Knox's fall foliage?... If that's the case, we are please to invite you to come out and enjoy a scenic walk through the beautiful town park and its newly paved 1 mile plus long walking path. Bring the children, take in some fresh air and beautiful views. The path can accommodate walkers, joggers, strollers, wheelchairs, skates, bikes, and more. Put the electronics down and get everyone out of the house! It's all here waiting for you. If you do come out for a nice stroll please remember some simple rules: -Practice a minimum of 6 feet of social distancing -If you can't practice social distancing, wear a mask -Yield to pedestrians and handicap persons -Use common sense and stay safe The Town of Knox would also like to thank our highway department starting with Highway Superintendent Matthew Schanz and employees Dan Jones, Kevin Delligan, Jim Schager, Crary, Tony Miller, and Tegan Hoffman for once again utilizing their skills and helping move Knox forward by constructing the path and keeping costs down. Nice job gentleman.
