To our residents on Ogden Center Rd, Gillett Rd and Colby St... we hear your complaints about speeding trucks. We have seen an increase in dump truck traffic due to construction off Manitou Rd. Today, we monitored speeds from an unmarked car. The video was typical of the trucks we saw. Honestly, local residents were faster! We didn’t see one truck over 40 MPH on Ogden Center Rd. Residents were up to 57 MPH. Please watch your speed! We will be monitoring other area roads in the upcoming weeks.

We don't know how to put this but... it's kind of a big deal. Some people steal stuff. Do your 9pm Routine! Lock your car. Bring the keys inside. Lock up your home. Call 911 if you hear/see something suspicious!

We posted earlier regarding our attempt to identify three individuals in connection with recent vandalism in the Village of Spencerport. No one wants to hear this, but.... "plowable" snowfall could happen any day now. Please remember the Town and Village winter parking ordinances: --In the Village of Spencerport- no parking on Village streets from 2am to 6am. Parking in municipal lots is restricted to designated areas between the same hours. We have already received requests from the Village DPW to step up our enforcement in municipal lots and cul-de-sacs. --In the Town of Ogden, outside of the Village- no par...king on all roads, 7pm to 7am. If your vehicle is on the road between the above hours, you are subject to a $25 parking ticket. If your vehicle interferes with snow removal, it may be ticketed and towed. We don't want to ticket or tow your car. Doing so takes an officer out of service and certainly aggravates the vehicle owner. Please work with us to keep streets, parking lots and cul-de-sacs clear for snow removal.
