THANK YOU! The Forestport Highway Dept. has been busy making improvements to River Rd. They have replaced the culvert in this area with a longer one and widened the shoulder. They also cut the bank back. This will allow us to keep a groomed trail off the road. This is a better situation for everyone. Thank you gentlemen for your efforts.

Thursday evening we took delivery of a new Trail Paver ll drag. We purchased our first one two seasons ago and our operators and riders have been very happy with the results. These two Pavers along with our four AFMI Trailmakers will help us make the best trails around even better! Thank you Chuckie Myers for handling our trucking needs in first class fashion. These types of upgrades would not be possible without the hard work of our volunteers with fundraising efforts and t...he support of our members, local businesses, and our community. We will be moving a groomer from the groomer barn to holland patent today. They will be trying to pack in what they can and clearing any trees on the way down. Reports from yesterday are not great, so please be careful if your out. Bottom line we need more snow and COLD!

With today’s snow we have opened gates on 7C from White Lk to Otter Lk. There are some hazards and some water. Some are marked and some are not. Ride with caution. Round pond trail, making the connection to Old Forge via Moose River Rd has not been inspected yet. The state gates are open on S71 and C4H. These trails have not been inspected yet and are ride at your own risk. We will not be grooming again until temps drop. Most likely Sunday night.

Ok update Rookies gonna open tomorrow Saturday 16th 11 till 10 pm and Sunday soft opening limited menu , no dinners till Tuesday the 19th that’s day me start op...ening at 730 am doing breakfast till lunch time then we will do our full menu we will close at 10 pm . Currently 32 degrees. We had rain during the night which has now turned to snow. Trail conditions have not changed. Expect trails to be in fair condition. With warm temperatures again today the trail surface is very soft. Please be easy with the throttle. Please stop in and support our local businesses!
