Everyday we get bombarded with emails and calls about dogs needing Rescue. We are doing the best we can.. We need fosters we need funding, so many are in need and truly it’s so hard to look away but how can we continue without help??? Dogs are dying daily all they want is a home,they don’t deserve to be euthanized. Please do your part !!

Copy and Pasted From Paws & Play..... Meet Khonso (Hon), a sweet dispositioned German Shepherd from Egypt who is looking for a new family to snuggle up with. He initially came to Paws ‘N’ Play for an extended boarding stay when Trina & Friends K-9 Rescue reached out to us to board him while his owner went through some personal issues. After 3 months of being with us, we have learned that Hon is now available for adoption due to his owner never returning for him. Hon is a ...well-mannered, 3-4 year old German Shepherd who enjoys playing with other dogs once boundaries are established. It took a few days of adjusting and meeting new people for Hon to feel comfortable with the staff, but after the first few days we learned that he is a big baby behind a big bark. Since being with us, he has adapted well to boarding life and has learned that it is ok to meet new people. He enjoys being outside and loves playing fetch with his frisbee and other toys as well as getting pets and sitting pretty for his favorite jerky treat. Hon would do well in a fenced in single-family home with older children who would be respectful of his space. Because of all the uncertainty that he has experienced, it may take him some time to adjust to his new family, but once adjusted, he will fill your heart with joy. From Robin who Adopted Stella!! We wanted to send you our 1 year Adoption Anniversary update! Stella aka Twix ! Stella has truly rescued us with the crazy year we have had. Stella loves playing in our yard, hanging out with her humans, going for walks around our neighborhood and loves being outside! Stella is a true companion to everyone in our family. She loves playing with her fur sister cat Mariah. We are so thankful for her each day.

The joy this brings us is why we continue to do it. Look at how happy he is and not to mention Gorgeous.... Oreo was living on the streets of Texas he would hang out with Mama Shepherd Nala and her pups and when we were asked to help mama and pups we were told about him hanging out with them.... Of Course we weren’t going to leave him behind. Oreo arrived and Was fostered by Colleen in Peekskill NY until his forever home was found!! From a street dog fighting to survive to now living the life many deserve. Happy life sweet boy we love you

This is what a true rescue is all about! Jazz was rescued from Forth Worth Texas shelter in horrible conditions as you can see on the before pictures. She clearly had been abused and neglected. Jazz went to her foster in Texas with Diana who did am amazing job with her. We started her on all kinds of vitamins, Raw goats milk etc and slowly she started to improve.... Jazz. a young dog, left Texas and made it to her foster in NJ with Tammy and we are happy to report she is doing great and slowly starting to trust people. Jazz will soon be ready for Adoption!!! After Shotzis momma passed away the family brought her to the Burlington County Animal Shelter. She was totally shut off from every one. She would just bark at ...the doors calling her mom. Being an older girl she wouldn’t be adopted quickly. Once again Trina and Friends K9 Rescue stepped up! A wonderful lady Barbara Kreischer who has adopted Karina Rosito seniors in the past said she would love to give her a forever home! Shotzi took a 3 hour ride to her happily ever after and was greeted with an entire pack ready to love her and help heal her heart. She will be with her mom again one day but until then alll her days will be filled with family. See more

After months of rehab Starling has flown away. . I don’t think I have ever been prouder of one of our dogs. Starling came to NJ totally feral. She went to her ...first foster who promptly turned her loose in his yard where she ran for a week before we were notified. I gave him a second chance and was back catching her again 3 days later. That’s when starling became an official Bucci Baby and has been here for several months learning to trust and be a dog. When I realized Statling was using me as her crutch I called Tara Potter. The only person I think I would have trusted with the task of making Starling independent. In a matter of 3 weeks she did just that. Star still has a ways to go in the trust and self confidence departments but she has 2 very good people and a beautiful fur sister to take her the rest of the way to being a normal dog. Look who is in foster care in New Jersey after being rescued by Trina & Friends K-9 Rescue! Sweet Tessa, about 1-2 yrs, old and still likes to play like a puppy. Walks well on a leash and will let you know when it is time to go potty.... No cats and only dogs who are her size, Foster reports that Tessa is good with her grandchildren. This handsome boy is Wally! The high kill shelter in California aged him at 4 yrs but we would definitely question that. He is a happy fun loving guy that bounces around like a much younger guy. We would estimate between 2 and 3 yrs. He had a terrible start that is leading him to a happy ending. Wally was running a California neighborhood for a while. One of the neighbors thought calling aco would be the best way to get him safely off the streets. The aco had a hard time cat...ching him and ended up using a tranquilizer gun. All the running around caused Wally to have a mild heat stroke. He was rushed in and his temp brought down but for obvious reasons he was not a good guest and was heading for disaster. Trina and friends couldn’t allow that!! Wally is currently in foster in Mt Holly NJ and ready for a new home. He is ok with dogs, of course with proper introduction. He is no cats. Molly has been diagnosed with Renal Hematuria, a malfunction of the filters in the kidneys and ureters of the urinary tract, causing blood to flow into the urine. The treatment recommended for Molly is Sclerotherapy. Molly has been seen by the Interventional Radiology team at a specialty center, and has been cleared for the procedure. DONATIONS ARE NEEDED TO HELP LOLA On Friday (10/9) we gave her lots of cookies, a walk in the woods and a bath. She is the sweetest dog, so friendly and silly but she was so afraid of the water...at first...but then she learned to like the towel Woo-hoo towel!... Lola had a veterinary appointment and testing done to determine the causes of her skin condition and blood in the urine. She has low albumin levels and her skin scrape showed no signs of mites. It was considered she may have possibly been poisoned or had been given a rodenticide but testing is returning negative so far. This gentle and loving animal fell victim to a life of long neglect - her skin is sagging off her bones her fur is in patches and she is missing her tail, there is blood in her urine, she is malnourished What she has been through is abhorrent and yet she is a loving, silly, friendly and trusting soul. Trina & Friends K-9 Rescue take on cases like Lola and many others just the same helpless dogs who need extended time and care before being offered for adoption. Time, love, veterinary and medical care for weeks and sometimes months before these dogs are ready for a forever home to be found.
