Tri-State Emergency Team participated with multiple SAR Teams in the Eastern NYS FEDSAR Joint Training on October 17, 2020. Every SAR Team brought specialized skill sets to the training to share and worked with other Teams to increase existing skills or learn new ones. Training included K9 water and ground search techniques, clue assessment and recognition, navigation skills, high ropes rescue, first aid response and effective communication procedures. We were thankful to be a part of training with this thoughtful and proactive group of volunteers.
