Part 2: An Air Ride Rescue Story. After stripping the old parts out we got to work. Using our custom tank brackets, we re-polished up the tank and hung it from the upper trunk deck with hidden dual smc water traps. We created a sub floor utilizing the spare tire hold down and mounted the compressors and management leaving space to still house the tool kit and leave room for the new Gen 2 @viaircorp 425c to breathe. We tucked all the harness and airline for a clean finish and properly wired system. Bulkheads used to pass the airline from inside to outside the car safely! Part 1: An Air Ride Rescue Story. We were contacted with intend to help go over an air ride install. When we popped the trunk this is what we saw. The stock floor mangled with cheap plywood, decking screws, mismatched compressors, single harness tapped with twisty tape wiring, airlines punched through the floor, airline ran into the car leaving wiring grommets wide open, a mess of airline, and a system so unstable were not sure how it was working in the first place.
