We have some very exciting things that we are ready to announce! A little history is necessary before I go forward. Around the year 2011, I was introduced to a ...man who would later become one of my greatest role models and friends, Paul White. Paul was a great influence on both my business and personal racing operations as well as personal aspects of my life. I am very appreciative of the friend and teacher that Paul was to my brother and I. Of the many things that Paul contributed to my racing knowledge, one of the most significant things was the knowledge of a good chemical program and how it can lead to success. Paul, along with Lance Yeager, was a large part in the creation of the TylerTech prep that we have used in success since 2014. The Premier Blend prep line has been widely popular in the Northeastern region as well as other regions throughout the country since its inception. With all that being said, when the opportunity arose to carry the Premier Blend banner, I couldn’t resist. I believe the Premier Blend brand has spoken for itself in terms of results and user-friendliness for many years. The chemicals have been responsible for numerous wins on every level, from local to national. The simple, yet effective nature of the Premier Blend line is what attracted me to this opportunity and I am very glad to add this line of products to the wide variety of offerings we have at Marsden Supply Company. We are fully stocked and ready to ship with all of the Premier Blend preps that were made popular by Paul and all of his dealers and customers! Premier Blend Prep Guide- Lite - Lite is a non aggressive prep that will show little to no drop in durometer reading while adding great bite in the tire. Use lite on high bite tracks that a heavily prepped tire will "lock down" quickly. Generally you should wipe a coat on every 10-15 minutes between races with mild heat (from the sun or hot box on low setting.) Medium - Medium is a very effective all around prep for any surface from low to high bite. It is by far the most versatile prep in our line up and is also our weekly conditioner. Medium will drop the durometer reading slightly but will add the same amount of bite associated with much more aggressive preps. Apply hot or cold. Heavy - Heavy is a more concentrated version of the Lite prep. All the characteristics are the same but the durometer reading will be affected more with the Heavy prep. Switch to Heavy when a race that you've been using Lite during the day transitions into night or for medium bite race surfaces. Apply slight heat (with torch or hot box) before applying. You can apply without heat as well. Aggressive - Aggressive is the most harsh of our preps and will add tremendous bite but at the expense of a large durometer drop. Most of the time Aggressive is used on low to medium bite tracks. This is also a great prep to drop the tires durometer reading at the track in the event of unexpected weather. Aggressive is also very effective mixed with our Medium prep. Premier Blend prices: Quart $25 Gallon $85 This is something I have personally been working on for a while and I now feel we have a full line of prep that compliments our extremely successful TylerTech prep that we have used exclusively for the last 7 years. In no way will these preps replace the current prep we offer, rather it provides a broad range of versatile preps that accompany the very effective prep we already offer. I am glad to finally introduce this brand to our lineup and can’t wait to see the results of this endeavor! Another huge announcement I would like to make is also regarding the tire aspect of our shop. I’d like to welcome back my brother, Tyler Marsden, who will be returning to his duties of tire specialist in the shop. He will resume doing all of the tire services that we have offered for many years as well as the control and sales of the TylerTech & Premier Blend prep line. Tyler has an abundance of knowledge, which having back in the shop will now allow the TylerTech & Marsden Supply Co. brands to reach new heights and achieve greater goals. We will have another post very soon regarding 2020 pricing on the TylerTech tire services, but until then we are taking orders on new tires as well as setting up tire programs for the new season.
