Welcome Musa Saeed, MD to our Division of Pulmonology, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine! He specializes in interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary hypertension, onco-pulmonary issues, and sepsis. Dr. Saeed is currently seeing patients at both Buffalo General Medical Center and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

When in our offices, or out and about through WNY, it's important to keep everyone's safety in mind. The best way to achieve that and reduce the spread of COVID-19 is to wear a mask, wash your hands and stay at least 6 feet from those you do not live with.

Training the physicians of the future is an important part of UBMD's mission to provide care in our community now and ensure that care advances. Dr. Sandip Saha... ran a new hands-on course in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences simulation lab for first-year pulmonology fellows on chest tube insertion, management and suturing. Dr. Saha is an interventional pulmonologist with UBMD Internal Medicine.

Those who are asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic still spread the infection. According to Dr. Thomas Russo, Division Chief of Infectious Diseases, this age group should especially continue to practice social distancing and wearing masks to reduce the spread.

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth or Emancipation Day. This year as a nation we are reflecting, listening, and learning about the successes and failures of our soc...iety to ensure justice and equality of opportunity for all. The physicians and staff at UBMD encourage all members of our community to join us in continuing to engage in the difficult work needed to enact those changes that are necessary to make WNY and the nation more just and inclusive.
