The event showcased and posted posters done by Wisdomthinkers 5th graders! The owners Marcelo and his wife, the district superintendent, principals, parents and their teachers all came to celebrate this event that showed how from the mouths of babes we can learn to help create a safer climate physically and emotionally! The event also recognized the workers at The Hamlet Diner for their work with public in insisting on wearing masks in the nicest ways. The lesson the kids learned this Spring was all based on a story "The Turtle Who Couldn't Keep His Mouth Shut" penned by worldwide known author Ralph Singh (in yellow shirt), Chairman of The Wisdomthinkers Network. The story came during the quarantine this Spring as part of the learning from home portion of their Social Emotional Learning from Chittenango Schools. Fulton City School District and Chittenango Schools are both participating in a pilot program funded by the Fetzer Group, Syracuse University and The Wisdomthinkers Network. Snappytaught the kids how self-control can help in times like these! Thank you Uniforms Etc.!!! J
