It’s official! Union Tea will reopen Wednesday, June 17th! All your favorites, plus a little more We have made changes for your comfort as well as ours. A new way of paying; a customer facing screen, Toast Contactless Pay, just tap your phone or card and go! A germ guard at our counter, and of course- our extremely easy to use online ordering system. Link is on our website or download the Toast app on your phone. Pick your time or just start your order and we’ll have it re...ady in 30 minutes. Simple- Easy, and Safe! If you’d like to stop by to order, we practice the 6’ distance, in addition to using masks. Or call 716-701-4014 (please be patient if you can’t get through, as we only have one line for ordering...hint, hint..please order online ) Our outdoor seating will be available. All our packaging will be in to-go (environmentally friendly when possible) containers. And finally - our new hours ! I think some of you will be very happy we have extended two days a week into the evening. Grab a to-go healthy salad for dinner, or dine on Union Street, and take in the world for awhile. Hello! Hope you are staying healthy and happy during these times of uncertainty. Be smart, not scared! Take extra precautions and stay home unless absolutely necessary. What a beautiful spring day to sit on the porch or take a walk. So...what we’re doing while we wait to welcome you back to Union Tea. ... We are taking this time to address the care of things we normally find a hard time for in the kitchen: painting, xtra xtra cleaning, changing tiles, changing filters, polishing the stainless steel. Upfront: Upgrading our register hardware with a bigger screen and extra terminal! Changing our board menus. And of course getting ready for summer with decorations for inside and out. We will be okay! We will be back with all your favorites, and more importantly, a sense of renewal. In the meantime, support local businesses by buying gift cards. Dear Valued Customers, It is with heavy heart that we’ve decided to temporarily close at the end of today until the state mandate has been lifted. This decision is first and foremost based on protecting our employees’ health. Second, rather than dwindle their hours and diminish their wages for the unforeseeable future, it is in their best interest to protect the full benefits of unemployment based on their hard work and tips before this all began. ... Rest assured, their jobs are secure with us in the future. As soon as the curve has flattened and the mandate lifted, we will be back to full swing! In the mean time, we can stay home, take care of ourselves, the health of our families, and be helpful to those in need until this unprecedented pandemic has passed.
