Through your year of service at our local United Way, you will help transform the lives of the most vulnerable children and families in Westchester and Putnam counties. As an Economic Mobility VISTA, you will help build the capacity and expand programming through our core, financial empowerment initiatives. These initiatives include p...rograms that help those individuals who straddle the poverty line, and often do not qualify for other forms of assistancealso known as the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) population.
