The Municipal Housing Authority of the City of Utica, New York (UMHA) intends to submit a proposal to the City of Utica with regards to the Coordinated Homeless Response Integration System. In conjunction with other agencies, the UMHA will conduct data analysis to determine the needs of the homeless and design a better coordinated and responsive system. Our goal is to improve our current system of providing services, increase collaboration among multiple agencies and servi...ce providers, and offer more effective services to the homeless. This survey will enable the housing authority to begin the planning of a better coordinated and comprehensive homeless response system for the City of Utica. In observance of MLK day, the Utica Housing Authority AmeriCorps Progran is conducting Homeless Street outreach to help connect people living on the street to services. Our program helps people find permanent housing and provides support services to help people achieve their life goals. We have three requests today: 1.
