The Clinton County Mariners held a bottle drive to raise funds to help families in need for Thanksgiving. They were able to raise $1,250! With these funds our organization was able to coordinate with other agencies to help 10 families. We are extremely grateful for their generosity. A friendly reminder that the ‘Kids Give United’ group will be hosting a bottle drive on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 9a.m.-2p.m. Bottle and can donations can be dropped off at the United Way building located at 45 Tom Miller Road in Plattsburgh. Last year, ‘Kids Give United’ efforts raised $850 for United Way of the Adirondack Region! This group consists of kids from our community that are service-minded and seek ways to help their neighbors in need. There are children in your neighborhood who want to make a difference when it matters most. They are making it their mission to raise funds for disaster relief so that children like them can access help through United Way of the Adirondack Region, Inc. in times of need.
