Hello out there! A couple people have reached out to this page recently to ask about the status of VARC. My name is Gelsey, and I am a 2019 alum who worked heavily for VARC while on campus. I do not currently know the status of the club, especially with covid-19 playing a large part in campus activities. If any student is interested in reorganizing VARC next semester, I am happy to pass along all the information and resources I gathered and used for the club. It only takes o...ne motivated person to organize people into a powerful collective, but it does take time and dedication. Vassar students and community members came out last night to learn about pet cpr and first aid at an event run by the Vassar Animal Science group, and were surprised with delicious vegan treats catered by Simply Delish NY.

Student volunteers get a great licking today from one of Catskill Animal Sanctuary's rescued friends!
