As the temperatures drop and days get shorter, it may be time to think about different ways to get yourself moving. Chair yoga is a great way to move your body and tap into your breath.

VA Research is impacting Veterans lives for the better! Great work from @VASanDiego #VAResearch! Doctors have long known that veterans frequently have sleep problems. Past research has suggested that they may have double or even triple the rates of insomnia, compared to civilians. The results from the study reveal VA's need to develop more sleep-issue related screening and raise awareness among veterans of the seriousness of the issue and the need to treat it at the first... available opportunity, researchers said. If you experience insomnia, be sure to discuss it with your VA Physician. https://www.military.com//veterans-have-higher-rates-of-in

Connect With Veterans on a Deeper Level on My Life, My Story Engage with Veterans and listen to their real-life stories on the My Life, My Story podcast. This heart-warming series began with a single Veteran in recreation therapy to help health care providers understand their clients on a more personal level. On My Life, My Story, Veterans’ life stories are recorded and transcribed. Some of the Veterans read their own stories aloud on the podcast; for other segments, voice ac...tors or a VA staff member reads them. If you are a Veteran interested in sharing your story, or know one who is, please contact the My Life, My Story team at [email protected] https://link.chtbl.com/mgws3xW1
