Barriers are down! It’s nice to have a little bit of normalcy!

We have been waiting for this news since last year. We will be taking down the barriers in the next few days. We will update the mask situation as it changes. As of now it's no masks for vaccinated individuals and if unvaccinated you should wear your mask while upright in the center(especially children). This is an "on your honor system". A big thank you to all of our customers and employees for enduring this very difficult year and continuing to bowl. Looking forward to a normal year in the upcoming season.

A big congrats to the winners of our Ferrario Holiday Over/under doubles tournament, Jim Sonner & Nick Dobson. They defeated Leo Kane & Laura Zanrucha winning $1200 and $600 respectively. Matt Lee from Ferrario Auto team presented checks to both teams.( Thank you Ferrario for your continued support). It was a great day and the first tournament we have hosted since Covid 19 hit in March. We were so pleased to see our tournament bowlers again and how everyone dealt with the p...rotocol in a positive manner allowing for a flawless day. That wouldn't be possible without our over/ under tournament staff consisting of Danny and Susan Stafursky, Jodi Joseph and the rest of the VBC staff who worked real hard all day. See below for the full list of our top 14 finalist and prize list... It ended being a 1 in 4 pay out with almost 60 teams participating. Valley Bowling Center will be closed for the remainder of Thursday which includes the following leagues: Lee’s Happy Rollers, Southern Tier Performance Pro shop men’s and Thursday mixed. It was so nice to see a tournament in our center. It's been since March and to host the Sammy V over/under with so many great professional and amateur bowlers from the northeast was a pleasure...Sam Ventura is a class act, along with his wife Tracy and tournament staff did an outstanding job.... I am also very proud of my staff, who have worked so hard through this Covid stuff.... Cleaning and sanitizing before during and after all bowling... On to the Holiday over /under on December 26th. Thanks to all that bowled yesterday and congrats to the winners!!!

A Covid update for our center. The Tioga County Dept. Of Health says we are doing a great job with all of our current steps to keep everyone safe. It is noted that with the dividers in place, social distancing and mask wearing, we have done our part to keep people safe. Unfortunately, a bowler on Tuesday night has tested positive after experiencing systems this week. The Dept of health has quarantined the team only for 14 days. They also have told us the anyone else that b...owled Tuesday has the option of quarantine, based on symptoms. IT IS NOT MANDATORY for anyone else to stay home... That being said if you have symptoms and feel that you should not bowl this week it is understandable...We have stepped up our cleaning and sanitizing efforts in the meantime. It should also be noted that we will not have to close the center if all of us just continue doing what we are doing. We are still looking to fill a couple leagues that we have! If you’re interested, please call 607-565-9946 and ask for Greg Joseph. NFL League. Sunday’s starting at 10 am. We’re still looking for either individual bowlers to fill a team or put together a team of 3. Its a short 17 week league that follows the NFL schedule. Beer and Pizza league. This is a fun league that each week you receive a large pizza and tower of beer. It will be on Saturdays starting at 6 pm with 4 person teams. We just need a few more teams to get it going!
