(weather-permitting) And here's a little sampling of what the vendors will be... bringing to market this week: Flint's Maple returns this week with a full load of syrup, sugar, candy, fudge, and cream. Washburn's Produce & Poultry will have have our pasture raised chickens, eggs, ground lamb! Garlic, turnips, beets, carrots, and Swiss chard!! The Busy Baker will have: Bara Brith Welsh fruit bread Oatmeal Rye bread Pumpkin Gingerbread loaf Nutella Fudge Crumble bars Raspberry Lemon Curd Crumble bars Chewy Treacle Cookies Chocolate Shortbread Devon Apple Dumplings Fresh Strawberry White Chocolate Scones Maple Pecan Scones Welsh Honey Cakes Sweet Harvest Farm will be bringing: Lots of tomatoes fresh slicing tomatoes, juicy sweet cherry and grape tomatoes perfect for salad and snacking Fresh canning tomatoes Loads of peppers - sweet bell as well as spicy hot ones ! Eggplant firm, large beautiful fresh-picked eggplants ready for parmesan dishes Great winter squash of several varieties including Acorn, Butternut, Buttercup, Honey Nut, Mashed potato, Delicata and Carnival Onions, Kale, fresh cut herbs i.e. parsley, rosemary, tarragon Freshly harvested honey in 2 lb, 1 lb, and gift giving sizes stock up for the long winter ! And tons of autumn pumpkins, brilliantly colored Indian Corn bundles both large and small to dress your yard and house this season Fascinating gourds of all colors and shapes as well as pre-made decorative gourd baskets. Also for gift giving, small decorative pumpkins. Schreiner Company will have mums, potted plants, squash, and beaded animals. The Woodland Elf will have flowered gourds, broomcorn wreaths and swags for autumn decor, photo greeting cards, and fresh bittersweet wreaths! Alan Franke's Nursery will have plants, veggies, fruit, squash, and gourds. Wagner Family Farms will have pie pumpkins, sweet peppers, hot peppers, kale, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, Indian Corn, gourds, winter squash, kohlrabi. Walnut Sunrise Farm will have Honey and garlic. Song Hill Winery will have wine, jam and cheese. And even more at the market! Come on down and check it out, and while you're there, purchase a ticket for our monthly raffle drawing for a chance to win a reusable tote filled with goodies from our market vendors. *** Elsewhere Farms and Fish Farms will be unable to make it to market this week, but will be back next week.
