Victorian Gardens Amusement Park

Dear Friends, Given the limited guidance and uncertainty surrounding when amusement parks will be permitted to open in New York State, we are saddened to announce that Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park (Victorian Gardens) will not open for the 2020 Season and may cease its operations entirely. Following the initial directives that amusement parks would be allowed to open in New York State during Phase 4 of the New York Forward plan, Victorian Gardens was prepa...red to open safely and responsibly with newly implemented COVID-19 protocols. Regretfully, since Victorian Gardens’ normal operating season is coming to a close and New York State has not provided a re-opening plan for amusement parks, we are not able to open this season. This year has been an incredibly difficult one for communities all over New York City with the health risks resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and the socio-economic fallout from related governmental executive orders. While Vicky and Victor and our entire Victorian Gardens team miss seeing everyone smiling, giggling, and having fun in our amusement park, our number one priority is the health and safety of our community, guests, and team members. Our commitment to safety has always been fundamental to our growth and success in creating fond memories for all of our guests at Victorian Gardens and it continues to drive our decision making. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire Victorian Gardens team and our guests, who have continued to show their love and support for our family business during this unprecedented time. Due to the exceptional nature of this moment, and since it is unlikely that Victorian Gardens will return to Wollman Rink in Central Park in 2021, all valid 2020 Victorian Gardens pass holders are eligible to exchange their purchase for a 2021 Luna Park in Coney Island Luna Pass and should contact us at [email protected] for more information and further assistance with their purchase. We have been privileged to provide family fun in the heart of New York City for the past 18 years and we are proud of the beautiful memories we created together.
