Next week will be 6 months since restaurants and bars across NYC were shut down. At the time, it was 100% necessary in slowing the spread of Covid-19. Now, for over a month NYC has had an infection rate of less than 1%. While schools, gyms, nail salons, hair salons, offices have all been reopened, restaurants and bars have not been given the green light for indoor dining. Not only have we not been allowed to reopen, there is not even a plan in the works for us to reopen in the future. This Monday, September 14th, at 9am, restaurant workers from all across NYC will be marching on City Hall at 9am to demand a plan be put in place by @nygovcuomo & @nycmayor. Our industry is dying.
