PSA: Do not flush medical waste!!! These are just a few items that came out of 2 pumps that were not working this morning during our routine checks. These items cause expensive damage and down time to important equipment that keeps sewer flowing through our system. If you or know someone flushing this stuff stop immediately! If you are caught doing you could be held responsible for damages and expenses involved.

We have begun our yearly flushing routine. This will take place for the next few weeks. If you are in a area we are flushing you may experience low water pressure and temporary cloudiness in the water. If you experience any other issues please contact us at 518-359-3341 or 518-923-0157.

A question for our junction area customers: For the past few weeks we have been treating the iron in the water that has been creating the discoloration that most of you have seen. We are wondering if you have noticed any improvement with the water clarity?

As most of you are aware and are experiencing extremely dirty water. We have crews working on correcting the problem please be patient and let your cold water run. Today while working with a company that was here to determine flow ratings of our fire hydrant system there was a fire hydrant used for a brief period that is not normally used in our routine hydrant flushing area to test pressure and it caused a very large scale of dirty water to be pushed through the system. We are very sorry this has happened and we are working on fixing it as you read this post.
