#TBT Louis Braille was just a teenager in 1824 when he created the alphabet that allows people with visual impairments to read and write. Braille was inspired by not only his own struggles (he was injured as a child and went blind due to infection in the eyes) but also the struggles of his fellow vision impaired classmates. His system is based on a set of six raised dots. #TheMoreyouKnow
