Proceeds from the event will support VNA of Hudson Valley's community health and education programs, palliative care, video Telehealth, and charity care. On Thursday, May 18, 2017, Visiting Nurse Association of Hudson Valley will host its 23rd Annual Awards Presentation at Abigail Kirsch at Tappan Hill in Tarrytown. The Evening in Oz themed event begins at 6:00pm with a cocktail hour during which guests can follow the yellow brick road to an array of fine foods and fantastic auction items. The VNA Awards Presentation will be an evening to remember, and will feature a gourmet menu, festive décor and a silent auction that boast...s something for everyone from jewelry and spa treatments to ski trips, sport memorabilia and family activities. The Dana Reeve Caregiver Award will be accepted by Ms. Beverlyn Fray. The Ellen Wood Healthcare Award will be given to Maura Del Bene, NP and Director of the Palliative Medicine Department, WESTMED MEdical Group. The 2017 Corporate and Community Service Award will be presented to Robert Simione, Principal Emeritus of Simione Healthcare Consultants, LLC. And the VNA Award of Merit will be given to Ronald Corti, President and CEO of St. John's Riverside Hospital and member of the VNA of Hudson Valley Board of Directors.
