Volunteer Hose Company #2 04.06.2021

West Haverstraw FD Fast Team members with a crew of 8 operated at the scene of a house fire on Cinder Rd in Stony Point this afternoon. Once on scene, the team was split into 2 crews. While still maintaining a Fast Team, the 2nd crew was put to work throwing ladders and providing ventilation for Stony Points engine crew as they had fire on the 2nd floor and knee wall area. Units operated for approx 90 mins before returning in service

West Haverstraw Fire Dept FAST Team members operating with The Stony Point Fire Dept at a house fire yesterday afternoon in Tomkins Cove section of town. Shortly after arriving on scene, the team was split into 2 groups and put to work both interior and roof ops to help open up for the first arriving engine company who encountered heavy fire on the 2nd floor and attic area and rear porch. Units operated for just under 3 hours before going back in service.
