ROAD WORK UPDATE This season's Warren County road projects are wrapping up, with Sunnyside Road in Queensbury getting a facelift as construction season comes to a close. The New York State Department of Transportation had some good news for the region's drivers in recent days -- two stretches of New York State highways in Warren County are on a list of dozens of state roads that will be repaved, with the timetable not set. The Warren County projects are:... $ 3.7 million to resurface Route 9L from Route 254 (Quaker Road) to Sunnyside Road, and from Clements Road to Pilot Knob Road in Queensbury. $ 2.9 million to resurface Route 8 from Spuytenduivel Creek (1 mile east of Brant Lake) to Route 9N, in the towns of Horicon and Hague.

Warren County Buildings and Grounds staff has taken bricks dedicated to Warren County crime victims that were at the regional Crime Victims Memorial in Albany and created a local memorial here on the grounds of Warren County Municipal Center. The Albany memorial had to taken apart for repairs, so the victims will now be recognized here in their home county going forward.

Warren County Clerk Pam Vogel was honored and excited to talk virtually to Mr. Amberger's Glens Falls City Schools high school business class on Friday. Pam discussed the business registration process that is handled by the County Clerk's Office, as well as the other roles the Clerk's Office plays with the business community.
