This quote is dear to my heart. As a Childcare Educator for many years. I've learned several developmental stages within children. Fast forward to when I had my son Josiah. Within 7-8 months of Josiah's development I notice when his attention was warranted he wasn't giving it naturally. Soon after I spoke with his pediatrician of my concerns, however she didn't feel anything was wrong. I followed by motherly instinct and insisted he gets evaluated. And the one thing I said to the Dr was. "If Josiah has any delays in his development, I need to know how to function in his world, because my norm may not be his norm". Still to this day I continue to fight for resources and the best educational environment that fits Josiah's needs. #iamhisvoice #autismawareness #autismmomstrong #knowyourrights

Let's learn our alphabets in Sign Language. I so enjoyed teaching my Daycare Babies sign language. We had sooo much fun If my son Josiah is up to it later maybe we can do a mini lesson for our WRTS kiddos and family.
