Kart Cup has become an annual event at Weedsport for an afternoon of racing at The Short Port. With a total purse of $2,700 on the line, PRO Clone 360 attracted 26 competitors. $500 to win each Twin 20 and another $500 to the overall champion was the prize, with Missy Bootes earning the overall title over Dan Marsden, David Hackett Jr., Jamie Shutts and Chris Pier. Despite falling short in Clone Light, Richard Murtaugh started hot in Clone Heavy, winning back-to-back races to start the season. From there, he added two more Top 5 finishes, including a podium run - to handily take the leather jacket over Chris Pier and Nick McGill. Pier and McGill finished just one point apart in their race for the runner-up position.
