Members took in training recently and added another firefighting tool to their arsenal. F-500EA is an agent mixed with the firetruck water, same as Class A foam, but works differently. Class A foam increases the efficiency of water as a fire extinguishing agent. Unlike foam which must form and maintain a perfect blanket to separate the fire from the oxygen, the F-500 EA technology encapsulates the fuel and vapors on a molecular level rendering them nonflammable. In a world where fires have become hotter and more difficult to extinguish, F-500 Encapsulator Agent’s unique capabilities meet those challenges. Due to the weather we are rescheduling the Community shout out with lighted E-331 till Wednesday. We will leave the station at Wednesday 5pm. We will head north on route 22 and take a left on to slosson. From Slosson we will take parker road back to West Church past the church. From there across route 22 to Ketchum bridge road and back to the firehouse. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.

331 will be out throughout the community tonight starting at 6pm.

Altona 2020 light parade

Pumper 331 out to the light parade’s in Mooers and Rouses Point. Grinchy Garrant and Santa Hart rode along.

Lighted 331 will be out and about again this Sunday the 20th. Open invite for any area departments that would like to tag along. Meet at the firehouse for a 5pm departure.

The 2020 Rick Morrison Memorial Toy Drive has come to an end with Tables upon tables filled with toys, winter clothes and cash donations. On behalf of WCFD members and the Morrison family a big thank you to all that contributed to help provide a better Christmas for local families here in the county. Big Rick would be smiling at all the help that came together to make this drive a huge success. We hope you have a safe and happy holiday season. As more pictures roll in we will update.
