It is with deep sadness that the Westhampton Beach Fire Department announces the passing of seventy-six year member John Comba. John died just weeks before his one hundred and fifth birthday. John joined the fire department in 1945 and attended meetings and drills until a few months before his death. Chief Mauro DiBenedetto said of John, He was a fixture in the Westhampton Beach Fire Department. He will truly be missed by the department and the community. Please keep John’s family in your prayers.
