Monday Sept 7th - Closed ... The office will resume hours on Fridays, Sept 11th, 9 am 3:30 pm. A correction to our previous post: Westside Allergy Care will be reopening on Mondays. The Greece location will reopen on 5/18/20 from 9 am - 4:30 pm. Please note we will not have hours until 5:30 pm as in the past. The Brockport office will reopen on Mondays beginning 6/1/20 from 9 am - 4:30 pm. Both offices are closed for lunch from 12 - 1pm. We are following CDC Guidelines for the COVID-19 virus. All patients are required to wear a mask, keep social distancing to 6 feet ap...art, and use of hand sanitizer/hand washing. If you are ill with a cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell do not enter the office. Westside Allergy Care will reopen on Mondays beginning 5/18/20. There is a change in our hours of operation. We will be open for appointments and injections from 9:00 am till 4:30 pm, closing for lunch from 12:00 - 1:00. We are continuing to monitor COVID-19 recommendations. Each exam and injection room are being sanitized between each patient per CDC recommendations. You are requested to use the sanitizing spray on the handle for the front door.

Our offices will be closed on Mondays and Fridays beginning April 1 continuing thru May 1. Our normal business hours will continue from 9-5 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This schedule may be revised after May 1st.

To patients of Westside allergy care. Effective March 30, 2019. We will be closing Monday and Friday, but will remain open 9AM-5 PM at our offices in Greece, Brockport, and Batavia, with our usual schedule Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. We will be asking patients with new problems and routine recheck visits to participate in our new telemedicine system so as to assure your safety, as well as the safety of others.... You will need a telephone, and for videoconferencing, internet, a working computer with camera, or a smart phone. (We email a link) We will remain open to see acute visits, but we will be screening everyone for signs and symptoms of coronavirus infection. If we deem that it's likely or remotely possible that you have symptoms of coronavirus, it will be suggested that you leave the office contact your primary, wear a mask, and return home. We are unable to meet the needs of patients who may be contagious with coronavirus. Protective gear is in short supply, our procedure masks are not maximally effective, and as you may know, testing for patients without definite symptoms is not generally possible unless you are high risk (elderly, with other medical concerns, healthcare provider, first responder, or person known to be part a family, residential, or occupational cluster of coronavirus cases.) We will continue to provide allergy injections. We will be asking patients who come every 4 weeks for maintenance injections to come every 6 weeks, which has been shown to be safe. We will be asking you to no longer just walk in but schedule your next allergy injection with the nurse. We wish to avoid crowding in the waiting room, so scheduling will allow us to stagger injection visits and protect you by avoiding unnecessary contact with others. Scheduling will start in the next few days. We request after you check in, wait in the waiting room to be called by the nurse when your injections are ready. Following administration of the injections, we may ask that you return to your car. We expect you to wait 30 minutes. If you believe you are experiencing a reaction, return to the office and report to the receptionist. We will not be receiving direct payments during this epidemic. We will send bills for balances that aren’t paid over the telephone by credit card. We believe that controlling your allergy symptoms will keep you healthier through this confusing time when symptoms of a possible respiratory viral infection may be confused with allergy symptoms. We want to help you avoid touching your nose, face or eyes. Therefore, take an antihistamine and a steroid anti-inflammatory nasal spray daily, if they have been suggested in the past. If your eyes itch, ask the nurse for a recommendation for eyedrops.

The Brockport office will be closed in the morning on Monday 3/2/20. Regular office hours will begin at 1:00 pm. The Greece office will be closed Friday 3/13/20.

Here are the most up to date list of office closings for Westside Allergy Care: All offices will be closed on 12/24,12/25 & 1/1/20. We will be closing early on 12/31/19 at 11:30 am. In addition, the Brockport office will be closed on 12/26/19. For the month of January, the Greece office will be closing at 5:00 pm on Thursday's and the office will be closed 1/6/20 & 1/20/20.
