Group 2 working a structure fire at 30 Old Mamaroneck Ave yesterday. Crews were dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle fire, which was upgraded to a structur...e fire as the burning car spread to the car port and attached garage. One of our very favorite residents, 7 year old Ruby Miggins (along with her Mom Melissa) came to police headquarters Thursday afternoon to drop off snacks for officers. Ruby has a lemonade stand in White Plains and used the money she made to buy some healthy (and not so healthy) snacks for officers. Thank you, Ruby and Melissa! It means so much to us.

The water main break has been isolated and capped. Residents should see a slow increase in water pressure throughout the city with the exception of 76 S Lexington Av and Mt. Carmel Church. FD and DPW are attempting to supply water to those locations using a fire hydrant.

Detectives are currently investigating 4 auto thefts that occurred at 3 locations during the overnight hours on the south side of the city this weekend. Occurrences have been increasing in our city and surrounding towns. One would like to think that you can leave your car unlocked or that your valuables are safe parked in your driveway but the reality is you can’t and they’re not.
